PHOTOS: Police seize marijuana in Shiawassee County Raid

Jeff Schrier | The Saginaw NewsPolice,led by the Saginaw County Sheriff's Department, found marijuana growingin a house they raided Friday afternoon at 3551 Allan in ShiawasseeCounty southeast of Chesaning. They seized marijuana, marijuana plantsand plant growing materials that Saginaw Sheriff Charles Brown valuedat $500,000. The person suspected of growing the pot was not present atthe time of the raid and police are seeking his capture. There weremarijuana plants of many sizes growing under lights in different areasof the house. Bags full of the drug were found in a freezer in a barnon the property.
